Happy Birthday Papa!

Papa must be growing up before our very eyes. For the last two years, he has wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday, but this year he decided he was ready to graduate to bigger and better rides and games. So, off to Amazing Jake's we went. It was the first time I had been there since Hannah was teenie tiny, and was pretty impressed with the selection of things to do. First, we all had their buffet dinner (which was okay, not bad), then the whole group of us (Gamma and Papa, the Wills, Mike, and us Sevy's) went and rode a bunch of rides.

This was was my favorite. It is called the Frog Hopper, and hopping is pretty much what it does. It raises you up, and then proceeds to bounce up and down. I was laughing so hard I thought I would wet my pants. Of course, all the rides are smaller scale because they are really meant for little kids, but we still had fun on them!

Aunt Leslie was brave and went on the teacups with Hannah and Milla. Uncle Mike went with Aiden, and Gamma and Papa rode together. Jesse, Justin, Noah and I all knew better. If I even spin in two circles in a row, I'm in big trouble. Luckily no one got sick, but this also wasn't a ride that we did more than once!

It was a really fun evening for everyone. The kids all love their Papa so much, and they really had fun celebrating his birthday with him. I love watching my own kids with him, because he just loves spending time and acting like a big kid with them. Happy Birthday, Papa!
